Originally from the Netherlands, Sandra Boskamp is an Austin-area artist whose work explores the depth and complexity of human connection and environment. With a background in fine arts, art history, and education from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, she works across mediums but is most drawn to oil painting. Her portraits transform real-life subjects into layered, puzzle-like compositions that highlight the nuances of personality and place.
